Behind her is two cinder blocks that hold up the roosting ladder. I will check for eggs! Thanks.

I did put up a "curtain" in front of the nest boxes as suggested in other posts here. My coop is my daughters old playhouse so it has alot of nature light 4 different windows.

You were correct = she is laying eggs. I watched her lay an egg. So now I have a new question. Could my two black sex hens be alternating days? I usually get two eggs a day one greenish and one brown. I have never gotten three eggs in one day however, my ee has sometimes skipped a day. I dont know....all I do know is what would my daughters and I do without these girls........

From your last pic it looks like there is some crawl space behind her...chickens are inventive and will get into a tight spot to lay for the privacy. I would look over any area that she has access to because I agree that she looks like she should be laying by now...
