They've all decided to be camera shy tonight. I've noticed one of thems poop has the organ failure smell all 5 got before death. If there any worse in the morning I think ill call the state vet and see what they think.

I really doubt it's AI in California, but the free testing will help put that to rest.

Theres a mallard couple that fly in almost everyday and eat there food and drink there water. Earlier today I read about a guy in Maine who's chickens had a duck come by everyday and that duck gave his flock the AI.

Maine is the Atlantic Flyway. We're in the Pacific Flyway, and there have only been 2 official detections, and those were in Canada. Either way, the state labs may be able to shed some light on what's happening to your flock.

Been thinking about you and your flock a lot this week. I wish there was something I could do....
