Hen or Cockerel?

Thank you everyone for your kind replies. I recently moved the chicks into the big pen. I separate the big girls from the chicks with a temporary wall then I have a little temporary coop they use before moving into the big coop. I’m actually adding on to my run and adding another coop because of the limited space. My little cockerel has been quite entertaining. He is definitely friendlier than the hens and he jumps up on my leg now. The other day he fell asleep while I was holding him. I’m hoping things work out for him.

Hello,
My chicks have been growing rapidly and to this point my big girls have been very kind. I did however get the first crow out of my little cockerel this week. This is the first cockerel that I have had since keeping chickens so I find him interesting.
