I'm sort of new to chicken keeping, grew up with them when I was little then just got my own flock this past May. I'm usually pretty good at determining gender but this little one has me confused. I got 3 more birds when a neighbors dog killed some of mine (German shepherd heeler mix jumped my fence) I've got 1.75 acres fenced in and now a flock of 12. When my 4 month old rooster was 10 weeks his comb was gigantic but this one's is pretty pink. I included a picture of myself with my orpington rooster Autumn at 10 weeks for comparison.

That's what I was hoping for! Thank you 😁 yeah my Autumn's comb was huge at 10 weeks. Teaks little leg nubs threw me though - they're bigger than the 4 month old roos!
Spur buds are present in both sexes! Spurs take a very long time to develop in cockerels so they aren't an accurate indicator of gender despite the wives' tales circulating online :)

Oops I missed the age. I would just say pullet then! :) By 10 weeks I would expect a much larger comb on a cockerel
Agreed...and agreed
