Maybe buying sexed chicks would be worth a try next time?
It's not guaranteed still, but if you decide on a breed and then learn a bit about that particular breed, you should have a bigger chance of getting girls.
I don't buy sexed chicks myself because I feel like someone should have the roosters! I am very soft on the boys.

RIR hens shouldn’t have green tail feathers I had 20 hens and 2 roosters... all RIR and only the boys had the green-blue tail feathers... sounds like you got pawned off on 2 boys from the way it sounds
