I have 3 dark brahmas and now I can’t tell the difference between the 3 of them. I believe they all have the penciling like the hens should?! One does go after the others every now and then. So I’m confused. Thanks

Do they have daily access to the outside?
Not yet, I’ve slowly started putting them in a smaller tent when I clean out their brooder. I was planning on putting them in their coop this upcoming weekend but looks like the temps are going to dip down in the 50s. They absolutely love the sun, freaked me out the first time they were all sunbathing in their tent

They need to be exposed to natural sunlight for several hours a day to prevent serious health issues caused by vitamin D deficiency.

At 6 weeks of age they need more space to exercise and explore. Keeping them inside a rather small brooder can lead to aggressive behaviour and featherpecking.
