Hen or Roo? Buff Orp and ??

Inherited these chickens about a month ago when my friend's house burned down. I know nothing about them and these are our first chickens. I'm hoping to keep one rooster for flock protection...and because I love the look of a handsome rooster, but can't keep multiples.

They all look like hens to me have any of them stated to lay if not they look like they are getting close to laying how old are they

BO this is the only possible pullet, but the tail has me thinking cockerel as well.

They all look like hens to me have any of them stated to lay if not they look like they are getting close to laying how old are they

They have male specific feathering.

#1-3 I was pretty positive were roosters...the others not sure. Thanks for the insight everyone. Guess most of them will be looking for new homes
