Hen or roo? (Copper maran)

Copper maran, about 12 weeks old, thought this was a hen until a few weeks ago. She (he?) is skittish and gets chased around by my older hens, but walks more upright and is developing roo-like markings. Your thoughts?

My area allows roosters. I just wasn't expecting it! I actually heard crowing the other day... but it was my silver laced Seabright HEN! (Definitely a hen, she's been laying for months.) Wonder if she's "teaching" the youngster how to crow?

She might stop crowing once the rooster starts crowing. Or she won’t…
