Hen Or Roo Please Help...........................

Well its official the 2nd pic is a hen. She has been in her seperation cage now for a week and no egg. Not until last night I went down and closed up the barn and there was nothing. This morning there was a soft shell egg and a regualr egg side by side. I am so excited she is a she.

Are you sure they are as old as you were told they are? I am thinking they are just starting to lay. Several of my girls had a soft egg like that right before their first "good" eggs started. If they had been roos, they would have definitely announced themselves long before now......my EE roo was my early, perfect, LOUD crower!!!!
