Hen or Roo? We aren't sure, are you?

Yay, we are finally on BYC! We just picked up four "hens" from a local farm. We were told that they were all hens and all laying - the farmer seems pretty down to earth and honest. This being our first time with chickens, we want to check with you all - the experts! We are not sure of the age of our chickens as they were all taken-in by the farmer after the death of a friend :-(. The day after we picked up our birds (2 RIR and 2 Ameraucana - I think) we got two brown eggs and 1 blue! The next day (today haha) we got 2 brown eggs and no blues. So, have a look at the picture and let us know what you think! Thanks for all of your help! Oh, it is the Ameraucana that we are wondering about!

Thanks so much folks! Feeling great relief now! Now we wait for more blue eggs!! Loving having chickens - they are so fun!
 
I agree, all hens. It usually takes them a while to get into a good laying cycle after a move, so production might be sporadic for a while.
