Hen or Roo???

Whats everyone's thoughts...is this silkie a hen or a roo? About 6 months old was the only one in the flock who hasn't crowd

That is a very big comb for a hen... so I'm saying cockerel.

Hmmm....it does have a very large comb. But everything else seems to point to a pullet.

I've never owned silkies, but that looks a lot like a Rooster one of my neighbors had.

Could we see him in side profile, natural stance? I would say Rooster because of that big, fat comb but.....still like to check out some other things. Beautiful bird BTW

If you have other roosters, he may not crow because the alpha roo , etc. will target him.

First I say pullet, than changed to cockerel....Puffy head feathers makes me say pullet but that comb makes me say cockerel. Let us know which happens first, the crow or the egg
