The combs on young Silkies are usually more pronounced on a roo than a pullet, but I think this one is too young still. If it's 4 months or more, I'd say more likely a pullet.

Well, mine is 3 months, and her comb is no bigger than your chick's. Maybe it's just the pic, but your chick looks older to me than two or three months.

The breeder I got my girl from showed me pullets and cockerals' combs, and as far as I can tell, yours LOOKS like a girl right now. Keep an eye on that comb to see if it enlarges though.
