Hen or roo?

So mid-August but were a bit older, so maybe 10-11 weeks or so? The one looks like a for sure cockerel to me, but I was thinking you may need to keep an eye on your other one too. :idunno My Lavender Orpingtons drove me crazy though, lol.
I know me too one of my buffs looked the same and turned out to be a girl ugh thank you :)

1000 percent wrong. pretty pullets. no worries.:thumbsup
1 of them may be a pullet, but the other one is definitely male. What are you basing your opinion off of?
No pullet has a red comb and wattles at that age. And they aren't quite old enough to have male feathering.

You were correct! Unless they're really closer to 12-16 weeks it's too early for male feathering. Comb and wattle development/color are really the best bet for trying to sex before then. I had to wait for an egg or a crow on one of my Lavenders, she has awful shredded feathers. She did lay an egg though!
I was going with comb and waddle but yeah you right on the feathers
That little one is driving me crazy hahaha thank you :)

Either way is fine with me I don’t have a rooster in my flock I was wondering because I have ducks as well and I do have a drake in the flock
So far my drake doesn’t mess with my chickens at all and he doesn’t mind the babies running around in the yard either
