I think cockerel.
Reason one: that comb is distinctly pink. Pea combs tend to stay small, so I'm looking at the color.
Reason two: I think I see pointed saddle feathers drooping to each side of the tail. If those feathers really are pointy, then it's is 100% certainly a cockerel. But I'm not positive whether I'm seeing pointy feathers, or rounded feathers that contain pointy color patterns. It can be hard to tell in photos.
Reason three: the rich red shades on the wings are more common in cockerels. I wouldn't judge gender purely by that, but it's part of my whole-bird assessment of "cockerel."
I truly think so too but we are the minority. She acts way different than her brother i got rid of today who crowed all the time.Super pretty! My guess would be hen since its further along in age for the start of the comb.
