Hen or Roo?

I find young guys start crowing with confidence. As soon as they quit getting their tailfeathers plucked by the mean girls, they start acting more cockerel like. I had a blue Americauna that was 7-8 months old before he started crowing.

Overo is right though. Post pics in a few weeks for confirmation.
I have a cockerel that has never crowded ever!

I will post pics if I still have him. We can not have Roos where we are. I was trying to add blue eggs to our basket but seams that may not happen yet. Lol.
 
The very unique feathering patterns does complicate this, but the way he stands makes me firmly think a cockerel.

Also, at 5 months, just checking for eggs might be enough.
