Aside from the larger comb, the patterning on this guy also say cockerel. Males will have far more white than a female.

SS are some of the most beautiful roosters in my opinion. You are in for a real treat if you can keep him.

This is a jubilee orpington. . I could have sworn this was a girl though. My roo has been trying to mount it.

Ugh I forgot to reply to this one, so thanks for the post, if it weren't for it I would've totally forgotten about this thread. I agree with everyone else though, it's a cockerel
