Hen or Roo?

One more question for everyone. She is the only one not roosting on the perch at night. I thought she was maybe not perching because she was a non-dominent he. But if she is a she, I don't know why she doesn't perch with everyone.

I’m inclined to say that’s a late-developing cockerel. He/she has large feet, a pink comb, and red shoulder feathers. Since you mentioned another cockerel, I think this one is just a little scared of him, and that why he hasn’t started crowing or anything.

That would make sence. I cant have two roos so im trying to figure it out lol. This one also had an infection for a while that we were fighting. Just recently finished antibiotics. Comb didn't go pink until then. Vet said white blood cell count was very high before the antibiotics. But big foot seems to be doing much better now.

She still could be at the bottom of the pecking order and get's picked on a bit even if she isn't a he.

I have 2 long perches at the same height. Maybe I need a lower one? Is there anything I can do to help her? They all roost on one, except one of my bantams flies to the rafters lol.
