I would say the BCM is also a pullet
but I’m really new at this lol
Maybe it is a cockerel now that I look at the below picture. Yours seems to have much larger/redder combs and wattles.
This is my BCM pullet around 12ish week for reference

This is my Midnight Majesty Marans (Hoover hatchery hybrid of BCM Roo x Barred Rock hens), bought as a pullet but hey Shirley is a Shorty.

The spots give it away as to being a cockerel - the barred rock cross means that all cockerels are colour sex-linked they will show a barred pattern, but those wattles and comb also give him away. I am told BCM pullets do pop combs and wattles early so that is why I linked RebeccaBoyd in, she has Marans.

That one on the left has been crowing since 6 weeks old unfortunately why we were called in to the city 🥲
Yes it’s a cockerel - females do not have much of a comb at all - so sorry about the cockerel. I know how rough that is. And I can keep all I want! But realistically one cannot keep a bunch of Roos around.

Darn it!

Compared to my other two Ayam Cemani this one has a bigger comb so I am thinking rooster but now I am not so sure? Here’s a closer picture.
