Hen or Roo???

I have a very BIG chicken that I bought as a hen that looks just like a rooster but I've never heard it crow and it doesn't have any spurs. Yesterday we witnessed her topping one of the hens and the hen beat her up. Also a few days ago I watched her start fighting with one of my young roo's. Is this normal behavior for a hen? We have 2 roosters...

That is dominance behavior, whether done by a hen or roo. I wonder if she was dominant in her previous flock.

Turns out my big hen is a rooster. He is turning out to be awesome and is huge.

Look for saddle feathers on its back. They are thin and pointy. If they are wide and fluffy, then its a hen.

Oh, it's a rooster now. He's breeding all the girls and crowing like crazy. He's way bigger than my older rooster and he doesn't even have spurs yet.
