Hen or Roo???

I have a mixed chickens that is about 3-4 months old. I think it is mixed with americana. Does anyone know if it could be a roo or hen? Also, what do you think its mixed with? Thanks

Looks like a girl to me. I'd think at that age you would be seeing a bigger comb or hearing a crow(although not always)

Hmm the first and third pics look like a hen to me. But that second pic makes me think I see possible saddle feathers.

So I don't know.

Almost looks like RIR/EE coloration. But I have never had RIRs.

Very beautiful chicken, I can say with certainty!

Your pics are so blurry that any details are obscured. The bird looks younger than 3-4 months and the tail area looks roo-ish to me.

With a better quality pic and closer on the tail we may be able to figure it out...

Ok. Thanks for your guesses. I'm not exactly she that the age of this one. I've been keeping up with my silkies ages but not really on this guy/girl. I will try to get better pictures tomorrow.
