Does this look like a hen? Her comb is getting really large. She was about 18wks in this photo and about 24wks now. I will cry if Lulu is not a she. "She" is such a great bird! But I live in a subdivision that will not allow a roo. So far no crow but she is getting a loud chickie noise..lol

She is a hen.
I have had my go around with cocks.By now she should've had crowed, and her breed typically is suppose have large combing.(and she has rose combing.).I see no roosters addle feathering, and her leg feathering isn't looking wettish, its more rougher.
Is this chirp,deep,or high pinched?

Yay!!! She is my favorite bird! I took other pics of her today and her tail looks nothing like a roo but her comb is so big it falls over. No eggs yet she is 24wks yesterday but the feed store said with the shorter days they may wait till spring?? And she has a deep throaty drawn out noise that is so much louder than the others. But we just love her so much it would have broken our hearts if she was a he..lol

Oops, she has a Minorca combing,(Sorry,I said the wrong combing!).
It depends on the bird. She may decide to wait, she may not. From what i've saw, roosters combing does't have a lean.
