Unless they are laying...
But I’ve met a laying Silkie that crowed.
(She was 2 - belonged to a friend in Washington.)

What are the ages? I don't think you should sex a silkie until 16 or 18 weeks old. If the splash is crowing then it could be a roo, but sometimes hens will practice the egg song and it sounds like a crow. But it is most likely a crow.
