Hen or rooster and what breed? Please?!?!

It looks black but it's feathers are blue and dark red and white fuzzy by its tail

You have a rooster there. As far as breed goes, could you post a better picture showing the true coloring?

I will get a better picture this afternoon. I bought this chicken from the local feed mill as a hen. They were more costly than the straight runs. The bigger it gets, the more I think it's not a hen.

I hope you are ok with keeping him regardless of breed, he's very handsome. How old is your bird? Mistakes happen with breed and gender sometimes, you'll read that a lot here.

Those long tail feathers give it away for me, you have a cockerel there. Very handsome chap too...can't assist with breed type, sorry. Looks like the colouring of my Copper Black Maran hen but I think the cockerels look quite different.
