Hen or Rooster? Help!

This is Oprah she was born on April 28, 2016 and is a barred rock. Super sweet but is MUCH larger than the rest. Her back feathers point up and she's been making strange noises lately. I hope she's not a roo were very attached to her

Starting to look like a rooster, very red/large comb. Maybe if you post a group pic of all of the them that could help.

Could be. Could you post a picture of him/her standing naturally?

Cockerel, big red comb, it should appear a little lighter in color than its sisters too.

Rooster. Birds in the barred variety are sex linkable by their coloration. Pullets have larger black bars of feathering and darker legs. Cockerels have larger white bars of feathering and their shanks are mostly yellow.

Oh my daughter will be devastated. We lost her buff to that umbilical infection at only a week old and now her "Oprah" is a roo.... So sad. I wish I could keep him. He's so friendly and loves being held. I will be searching for a reputable farmer that needs a man for his ladies thank to all of you for quick responses and knowledge!

Looks like a cockerel...you could wait a bit to make sure while you look for some one to take him. Sorry.

In the picture above, the chicken on the right could be a cockerel. Need full body pic to confirm though.
