I bought 15 red pullets from tractor supply in commerce ga, 11 light bramas,2 silkys, and 2 dominecers from Homer ga. They all are about 1 1/2 week old. How can you tell if they are hens or roosters?

More than likely they will be hens if they were labeled as pullets. Occasionally a mistake is made. They are too young too tell right now but you can keep an eye out for any that grow a lot faster and bigger, get a larger or redder comb than the rest, or behave consistently aggressively. Don't get worried if they all kind of challenge each other from time to time because even hens need to establish their pecking order.

I bought 12 from the local farm store. They were all supposed to be hens but I ended up with 1 rooster. He's quiet and my most friendly. He also has grown slower than the other 2 barred rock hens. I could tell he was a rooster when he was 6 weeks.

Not sure I don't have any bramas. I don't have any Giants either Ive read a little bit about them though, that's how iknew they were very cold hardy.
