Hen or Rooster? (silkies)

I have one black silkie bantam I got straight run can anyone tell me if it’s a hen or rooster. Btw sorry for the poor lighting and picture quality.

Really hard to see in the lighting, but I'm guessing pullet.

I'm also going to say pullet. I normally would say that better quality pictures would help... but we are dealing with a Silkie as well so... Off of what I can see, I'm saying pullet.

Pullet for now... silkies can trick you so watch for signs of cockerel like crowing.

He's a beautiful black beauty I need to put on my glasses to look closer lol

Not all roo silkies have sadle feathers, most from hatcheries will, looks as if this girl is. I have a roo silkie with no saddle feathers and he was from a hatchery, TSC.

Wow really I didn't know this .. actually my country didn't have this breed so never gotta chance to look a silkie in real . Maybe then they should wait till he Crow or she start to lay

Looks like a pullet.

Btw, that's not a pure silkie, it's mixed with something else too as it has smooth feathering. Although some call them "Satin silkies."
