Hen or Rooster??

I agree that they are 2 roosters. They are just 4 months old and may not be crowing yet, But they will soon.
Right now they are sparing with each other to establish dominance. If you only have 4 females you will have to decide which rooster to keep. 2 roosters is too many for just 4 hens.

Yes I was afraid of that... they run scared from our hens is that normal? Also how many hens should I have? I'd love to keep them both!

Next time if you want a rooster go on Craigslist. ... hundreds of unsexed boys end up there... are you looking to start a flock of your own? 1 roo 1 hen? As for sexing the birds..... not my specialty but more then 1 pic each would help the gurus. ...

I have 5 hens and wanted a Roo so we could hopefully get some babies!

They are inseparable will it be traumatic to separate them? I'm hoping to figure out how to keep both! I'm sure I sound silly but these birds mean as much to me and my children do!

They are like this ALL the time. Never separate and if I separate them even for a second they are upset!

Both are defiantly roos their big tail feathers and vibrant colors scream roo. And the fact they are standing up straiter while hens tend to lean forward more
