Any bird of any gender of any species with dark feathers an and will sheen green and or purple. My black jersey giant will sheen both depending on the light.

I have 3 rir that are at least 20 weeks old and no eggs yet. My.others that are now 2 yrs started laying between 16 and 18 weeks.

Have you checked her pelvic bones to see how close she is? They all start laying in their own time...

You just feel their back side you will feel two bony prominents. Compare the width to your older girls
