Hen or Rooster?

We have 4 chickens left. We already re-homed a rooster last week. One if definitely a hen (shows no characteristics of being a rooster) and one is definitely a rooster (crowing all of the time) but the other 2 are questionable. I am pretty sure one of these is crowing as well but stops immediately when I go out to see them. Can anyone help?

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but...your Silver Laced Cochin, Gold Laced Polish, & Silver Laced Polish are all cockerels.
Where did you get these birds from? Did you pay for pullets?

That is what I was thinking as well - unfortunately. I bought 5 and 4 of them have turned out to be roosters. They were all supposed to be hens but there was no guarantee.

My hen will be alone as of tomorrow - do you suggest I try to find her a friend ASAP? It's been many years since I have had chickens, but I seem to remember, they do not like to be alone.

Yes, chickens need to be kept in groups. 2 is minimum, 3 is better.
I think you need to complain to whoever you got those from. If someone says "these are all hens", then 80% of them should not be roosters. They need to reevaluate their sexing methods.

Its possible one is a hen. My chicken is a female and has a wattle and comb that looks exactly like that.

Those are cockerels, besides the combs and wattles they have male feathering coming in. Pullets will get combs and wattles too, but they don't look like that until they are older. Cockerels get them in much earlier.
