Hen or rooster

I'm debating back and forth a bit. California Whites can get large combs early and I would expect bigger of a cockerel, yet it's pretty red for a pullet of this age... I'm thinking pullet for now from what I can see. @Overo Mare, thoughts?
Thank you so much I’ve been told that a male is not scared of anything this one is it’s very timid so could be a hen

Personality can vary so it's best not to rely on it as an indicator. In many cases cockerels are bolder than their pullet counterparts, but it's more of a trend rather than a rule. California Whites are more on the flighty side regardless of gender :)

In that one photo she's a bit more pale and the wattles are way more pale than the comb. I believe she's just a flushed pullet. I would also expect to see more comb/wattle development if it were a cockerel.

Definitely give us some update photos in a couple weeks though!
