Hen Or Rooster

Is there any way to tell which is a Hen & which is a Rooster? The babies are 3 weeks old.
OK this is alphie. Have 3 and supposed to be RIR.

There are lots of ways to try to tell, but it depends of the breed. If you post pics, folks will try to predict and give you the reasons that make them lean one way or the other.

For instance, on a Barred Rock, you'd look at the ratio of black to white, the color of the legs, the comb development and color, the tail development, and the thickness of the ankle...but it's stuff that takes time to learn and to be able to predict.

Got some pics for us? We'll give it a whirl!
 
I would say roo by the size of that comb but your never sure until they either grow a huge comb and wattles, or start crowing...

How about pics of all of them, from different angles, so we can see combs, legs, feet, and tails? And see them next to each other, to see sizes? That one pic just isn't enough to tell anything.
