I think this ameruacana is between 5-6 months. I was thinking it was hen, but I'm not so sure,

I would say Hen, the Hackle feathers are not very long or pointy...and by this time I am sure you would have heard crowing if it were a Roo...unless you have one Shy roo!

Did you raise it from a chick? Are you sure of it's age?

I was thinking roo too. But the bird doesn't look that old to me. If it is 6 months, it should be either crowing or laying.

Looks like a 3-4 month old rooster to me.

I'm not sure of it's age, I have some other chickens that I know are 4 months, dominiques and cuckoo marans, that are much smaller, so I was just making a guess by comparing size. It seems to grow a lot almost daily
