OK I have what I was told is a Blue Orpington pullet when we picked her up in November 2012. She was supposed to be around 4 months old so by now she or he would be approximately 24 - 28 weeks old...And we have no clue if it is a hen or a rooster. Any guesses?

IMO it doesn't look that old, big enough to be an Orpington, it doesn't look blue and it doesn't look like a pullet.

Thanks, I was thinking the samem looks nothing like my Buff Orpington (size or shape),,, Any ideas on the breed?

No he/she is not wet, feathers have been about like this since we got it in November... not much change at all.

Not sure if it is considered red or brown, the lady I got it from called it brown feathers and that was why she was getting rid of it, she was only keeping birds she would be able to show. We just wanted some different colors for our flock and we wanted Orpingtons....
