With those red patches coming in on the shoulder, rooster.

Hmmm I don't see any red on shoulders....tho I maybe see some hackle and saddle feathers but pics aren't close or clear enough.

Can you get clear close up of the comb too?
How old is it?

Here are some more pictures of him. It's hard to get detailed pictures because of the color and the camera I am using. It is about 4-5 months old and supposed to be an Ameracauna. I've never had an Ameracauna before so I can't say. It is significantly larger than it's older male counterpart.

Yeah, that's a rooster. Saddle feathers and large comb.
Don't think Ameraucana have that color pattern.

Definitely a rooster. And, I'd guess he's an Easter Egger, typically sold through hatcheries and feed stores as Ameraucanas.
