So this year I let my broody hen Sonny (buff Orpington) hatch out 6 eggs. And I have 2 sets of twins (only cause they have the similar pattern
) a lavender Orpington and an odd ball
( youāll know it when you see her! )
The grand chicks are 6 weeks old and Iāve been curious to know if I have some Roos in the mix.
So here is baby 1
I think itās a she because her comb is still yellow and she doesnāt have any waddles present
Here is baby 2 ⦠Hands down I know he is a Rooster
but itās okay you can see his twin in the back for comparison
Babies 3 & 4 have flat combs but no waddles yet so I am hoping they are hens.
And baby 4
Baby 5 is a roo he has his waddles that are pink with a light light comb
Now baby 6 is my favorite

so I had to save the best for last
Iām not sure what this chick is.
So let me know what you guys think
Hereās photos of the moms that laid the eggs and the dad
