I have some Safeguard coming for her tomorrow.

She seems to be doing much better but still gassy. Definitely seems more alert/comfortable.

I'm still a little hesitant to give a dewormer to an ill hen. Is there any potential problems with giving Safeguard to sick animals?

Her weight and strength are still okay. If that makes a difference.

She just passed away
Will take her to be necropsied today. Most likely it was a tumor that was blocking her crop.

Thanks for the update! You tried your best to help but with such a large tumor nothing will work At least you know and also know that there’s no illness spreading to other chickens.

This was a sad story to read, but I'm impressed with how well cared-for she was until the end. With only three and one so long-lived, I imagine you are very close to your girls. Sorry for your loss. I think she probably had a very good life!
