Hen pecked??

Bob is my big beautiful rooster that doesn’t take any crap from anybody! The last two days, I’ve seen one of my hens “bowing up” to him...kinda “daring “ him. They are beak to beak and Bob’s neck feathers even stand out, as if he was ready to fight another “guy”...like cock fighting. I have intervened, yelling at my girl, Irene, to “knock it off”. And then, all is fine. She seems to be in charge for a brief moment. I’ve never seen such a thing!! Is that normal? I think it’s kinda funny, I see Bob’s ego smashed...and NOONE crosses Bobby, except me. Just curious...
