Hen pecking at wound!!!

:barnieMy hen has a healing wound. She has recently started picking on it. Does anyone know how I can prevent her from doing this?
Homemade collar or something?

Thanks! The vet already checked on her but did not do surgery yet.
When will the vet amputate the wing?
Did she start administering antibiotics since bone is exposed?
Here's a link to your other thread so folks can find that

Is the wound healing? No odors or signs of infection?
You can try wrapping the wound to see if that will deter her, there's a splinting manual linked below that may help.
You can also try putting an infants t-shirt or similar on her - may have to do some crafting or sewing for that.
Whatever you use, you will want to be able to repeat it since wounds need to be monitored for infection.
Hopefully someone else will have a better idea.

The wound is healing, amputation is next Thursday, its the soonest date we could get. She is batting penicillin G. Thanks for the t-shirt idea, i'll try that.
