What does it mean when you reach in to pat your hen and she lowers herself with her wing half spread? Is that because she thinks I am the roo and she is submitting to be bred? My free range hens dont do that for their roo, so I was curious! She has lived alone because anyone I put her with pick on her. She is the little pyncheon I had brought back from the brink of death on 2 occasons and has been all better for more than 6 months so I tried to put her with a small pyncheon roo, but she wanted no company at all!
