I have a 7 month old hen, I picked her up and you can hear her breathing it almost like raspy, she is not sneezing or gaping for air. And she is eating, drinking healthy look no feather loss or anything, her crop feels normal it empties out, her poop is normal. What could it be I don't want to miss treat her from something she doesn't have. Any advice would help.

Do you hear raspy breathing when she's not being held?

A video of what she sounds like standing alone and when held may be helpful.

Upload video to youtube and provide a link.

I have 3 hens, well 2 now, doing this. The first one was a silike. She was doing fine, even her breathing wasnt labored. Just a slight rasp to it. I used vet rx. She died about 2 weeks later. No other changes at all. Never any discharge or anything. I noticed 2 of my other girls doing the same thing, although they are in the same coop and run they don't spend time together really. One is a little more so than the other. But again she seems fine otherwise. I don't know if her breathing sounds the same when not being held. But my others don't sound that way when held. Ive started vet rx on all of them and added oregano, garlic and apple cider vinegar to their water. Seems pointless to isolate now.
