Hen? Rooster? Breed?

This is Ghost. I want her to be a she, I think she is a Delaware. I have asked in other threads and I am told that she is a Male. I hope not. So I am asking for as many opinions as I can get Is this a Delaware and is this a Cockerel? This is the most recent picture I have of Ghost.




This is Ghost and Lucky. I think Lucky is a Delaware as well but she is much lighter in coloring. Other than that and the fact that she is a week younger, I cannot tell any difference.




Can you help? I hope so.

How old are they? If over 5 weeks I'd say both pullets even though the one has a ton of black

My guess with the amount of feathering is pullet as well. I have found that the roos seem to develop their feathers a lot slower...especially tail feathers.

I am really hoping that this little chick is a girl, if not I think I have found it a home. There is another Backyard enthusiast here in Sparks that lives out away from close neighbors that has wanted to get a rooster. Delawares are calm so maybe she will take my "Ghost" if she is a he.

This is Regal. I heard her try and Crow this morning. IS she a HE? Or do hens make any kind of sound like that? Right now it sounds like a loud hoarse cough.
