Hen Saddle - in rain - should I take it off her tonight?

Hi all, One of my ladies has a hen saver saddle on. Its been raining all day in NY and the hen saddle is wet as you can imagine. It's made of a canvas material. Do you think I have to take it off to dry or will it dry on its own on her? Its in the upper 40's, not sure about tonight. Will her feathers be wet and cold underneath?

I'd take it off if it is wet.
The feathers can't dry if they're covered by a wet blanket.
