Hen screams when she poops help please

can someone give some insight on why she still does this please?
Sounds like she has some anatomical anomaly somewhere in her digestive tract.
Maybe another xray is in order.
Personally, if I had a bird that couldn't eat/drink/poop normally without constant intervention, it would be euthanized.

She probably has some sort of obstruction that is constricting her bowel or cloaca. It might be a large lash egg in the oviduct, outside the oviduct, cancer, or fatty liver disease. Those are just guesses. Lactulose is a laxative used in liver disease. What does the vet think? I would be inclined to think about putting her down, and getting a necropsy to ses what was going on.

well when I took her to the vet the first time he did xrays and the impactment was all it showed.

she eats and drinks runs around great but the pooping is always a problem when the medicine is gone. I don't know seems like there has got to be more than just impactment. I think im going to try the medicine once more then take her back and let him look at her again.

I am fixing to go and check all of that, Shes not gotten any better. she seemed a little better after a little mineral oil but that doesn't seem to do any good now. she yelled on and off all day yesterday. she is worse yesterday and today. I have a vet that I am going to see tomorrow he wasn't in today. its hard to find a vet that sees chickens. its ridiculous that you cant find one close by. I was going to take her today but the vet I had taken some to before wanted me to take her somewhere else cause he doesn't know about chickens. he says they are complicated. anyway we are planning to go tomorrow. its going to be hard because she isn't one that I can handle much its just her personality
It's a shame that vets are not like The Incredible Dr. Pol he takes care of animals...We need more like that especially if you live in a rural community...And cant drive an hour to vet
I'm so sorry she's going thru is. Hopes she makes a good recovery
