Hen seems depressed

My hen had bare skin due to the rooster so I put a apron on her and the rooster attacked her and she kept herself in the coop away from the rooster and the other hen. We took the apron off in hope she starts to be herself. She has stopped laying eggs and I am worried.

It seems the rooster and other hen have abandoned her … the rooster is just mean and attacks.

What can I do?

Get a new rooster or else do without him. Should have at least 5 hens for each rooster or your hens will get 'over handled' by the rooster. Can end up killing the hen.

Probably because the rooster is bored. Your hen to rooster ratio isn't good, you should probably either get more hens to keep him busy or get rid of the rooster all together.

I would recommend getting more hens and possibly replacing the rooster, he sounds too aggressive to his girls
