My cochin weighs 8.5 pounds and is 3 years old. the vet said she is skinny (muscle wise)
She eats drinks and poops fine.
She went from laying consistent eggs to laying once or twice a week. I give her calcium sometimes because she doesn’t eat oyster shells. She is enthusiastic when treats are around.
Her bumblefoot is 99% gone and her belly has not gotten larger or harder.
She has been siting in one shaded spot all day and has been standing up to eat and drink. She never hops onto roosts unless it’s to sleep.
Could this be because her body is getting worn down? Disease? Unknown reproductive harm?
