Hi! I have four chooks. I have already collected the eggs, four of them, and went up to find one of the hens sat in the nesting box. When I stuck my head in she began clucking quietly. I gave her a few pats and she stood up and slowly left the coop. I shook about the treat container and she came running, seems alert, her crop feels fine. Is this something to be worried about?

If she's acting fine then I think she's probably okay. On several occasions I've even found my rooster sitting in the nesting box :lau

Don't let her stay in the box, unless you want her to go broody.
I have one hen that does this, and I chase her out. She squawks,
but she not only causes a back up for others wanting to use that
particular box, but I don't want her to go broody.
