Hen sitting on eggs outside

I have 4 hens and a rooster that free range and roost in a tree (they are wild). They have been laying their eggs in the woods. My kids have been looking for one of the hens because she hadn't been around for a couple of days. They found her sitting on a nest under a tree. Should we try to move her or just let her be?

IMO, I would let her alone. I"m sure it's not the first time a hen has hatched outside I'm sure your be hearing that on here soon. I would keep an eye on her.

Mine have hatched all of theirs outside - I wouldn't worry about it!

I would make sure she has some food and water and let her be.
