Hen sitting on eggs

My Runner hen is Sitting on a nest of 8 eggs in there pen under a ramp.
I candled them yesterday it was successful. Seems they are at the
2 Or 2 1/2 week point not a expert???

Not Sure what breed for sure
We have Runner, Muscovy, Saxony and a Rouen

The other ducks seem good one of the other hens was sitting next to her and the drake seems alright

Any advice?

Keep waiting and be prepared to separate her and the Ducklings if they do hatch.?

As I am new to this and am curious. Why would they need to separate the hen and ducklings?

In case the Drake gets aggressive towards the Ducklings once they hatch or if Momma tramples on them to keep other Ducks away from the Ducklings...

I was planning on separating for that reason

Now how far along are the eggs
I candled them lots of vains and the egg is halfway dark on all 8 eggs?

I am thinking father along then what I thought

I candled the eggs upright and all the dark and vains are to one side on all 8 looks like it's filling in
there is the airsack circle thing at the top

Normal????
