Hen sitting too long???

My first hen is setting on 5 eggs. I can see that2 of them have cracks in the shells. This is day 22. Should I take her off the nest? Can the eggs hatch if she is still sitting on them?

Leave them alone! Let her stay on them (so the humidity doesn't drop and shrinkwrap the babies) for a few more days. The cracked ones may just be hatching. I usually wait until day 25.

I have 4 broody hens setting on eggs that are hatching as I type. I've been watching them all morning, and it's awesome! They stand up just a little bit as a chick come out of its egg, and then settle back down onto the rest of the eggs as the hatchling moves out of the way. Amazing girls!
