Is the shorter roost the one you added?

Thanks, and yes, of course they would make a liar out of me....Chicken drama! I had one roost lengthwise in the coop that is 54 inches. I added the “T” part that is about 30 inches.

I originally planned on 6 birds in this coop, but here we are. Maybe a bit tight for 7.

I saw some interesting stuff tonite, the two black sex links are pretty aggressive when settling in. Seemed like they picked on both ambers and the Easter egger. The austrolorps grabbed the corner spot early, and stayed out of range of the sex links.

Im so glad you experienced the activity at Roosting time.
The only suggestion I have is: for your Roosts to be Perfect, is to turn the 2 x 4. Right now, they are standing/sleeping on the "2" inch part. They have better stability standing/sleeping on the "4" inch part.
Other than that, your set up is very nice and your girls look happy and healthy.
